The slightly eccentric eating, cooking and travel adventures of a Sydney girl who loves cakes, cooking, Nigella Lawson and eating. She eats, breathes and dreams food and indeed will never get cable TV as she'd quit working and watch the Food Channel all day long.

Hi there Not Quite Nigella! I was just came across this blog by coincidence when i searched up "chong hing" Haha! My father and mother, David and Roslyn Chan both own Chong Hing Restaurant. It's really lovely to see these kinds of blogs about our little family restaurant! Thank you for all the lovely comments. Although, I might have to disagree with lilian, but I'm pretty sure my parents have changed hands.. Chong Hing will always be our restaurant, forever and ever! =) (And apologies if the food was poor that night.. ) we hope to satisfy your needs once again! =) By the way, my favourite food from the restaurant would probably be my dads chicken wings!

your father and i went to chong hing last wednesday and the food was terribly disappointing. upon further investigation, we found out that the restaurant had changed hands, which explains the radical difference in quality levels.

i would not recommend this place any more.
