They were actually trying to rent the large restaurant in the corner of Liverpool and Brown, the Chinese yumcha place. But they were given the runaround by the owner so they ended up looking in North Sydney. He says he's opening a new restaurant in North Sydney. The original Shanghai Night is managed by his wife while he oversees New Shanghai night because it's newer.
