The slightly eccentric eating, cooking and travel adventures of a Sydney girl who loves cakes, cooking, Nigella Lawson and eating. She eats, breathes and dreams food and indeed will never get cable TV as she'd quit working and watch the Food Channel all day long.

This is astonishing. The best breakfast in the world? Maybe, but they must not have had any coffee. I swore off it after being served my 2nd weak, tasteless and scalding hot latte.

Being 2 minutes walk away from Wharfy's makes it impossibly hard for me to not go almost every weekend. Fantastic place with terribly nice people who make you feel very welcome.

Personal favourite: Mushrooms on a croissant. Haven't had a better one in Sydney.

AND they always have the latest copy of New Scientist magazine which goes down very well on a lazy weekend morning.

I LOVE this place.

What an interesting find! I live at Spit Junction and will have to check it out myself too. I do wonder how their Nasi Goreng is...

Have you been to the Barn at Georges Head (I think)? It's the same as the Barn in Rozelle. Haven't been to either, but it's meant to be very very good. Not sure if it's bargain-y and unpretentious though!
