The slightly eccentric eating and cooking adventures of a Sydney girl who loves cakes, cooking, Nigella Lawson and eating. She eats, breathes and dreams food and indeed will never get cable TV as she'd quit working and watch the Food Channel all day long.

Hi balconygal-Oh that is so great to hear! And also great to know that it can be done with replacement ingredients and with adapting the recipe. Thanks for letting me know! :)

I googled the recipe and you came up first so I went with it! And I came back to tell you what I discovered. First, my two wee ones love broccoli so it was a no-brainer to use that as a puree. Second, I didn't have the exact ingredients but they worked so well anyway that the family was asking for more. I use regular veg. oil in a regular (non non-stick) pan so it requires more. And my bred crumbs are store-brand bland in which I throw garlic salt and some herbs. I used two eggs with the broccoli and dipped the chix in flour before the egg mix then the crumbs. And now I'm just running this paragraph on and on and on but I'll end by saying the result was a huge hit. And I'm glad I found your site. YUM.

I really love your photos, and also the crockery look really good with what you've cooked here.

I'm a non-cook but I really enjoy reading your blog.
