The slightly eccentric eating, cooking and travel adventures of a Sydney girl who loves cakes, cooking, Nigella Lawson and eating. She eats, breathes and dreams food and indeed will never get cable TV as she'd quit working and watch the Food Channel all day long.

I have just tried this beautiful crisp apple juice at cafe La Pasion in Darlinghurst.

It was very refreshing and I enjoyed it with my banana filled organic French Toast. Delicious!

Hi Lori-So glad that it lived up to your expectations! Yeah it's better to buy it at the orchard itself but during winter they aren't open that much :( Interesting about the apples though!

After reading about Logan Brae here, I finally made it on the weekend. The juice lived up to expectations. FYI it is now $4.50 for 3L at the orchard, and $5.50 at the Bakehouse, Leura. They also sold apples by the box, although I must say I prefer the ones from supermarkets, being sweeter & thinner skin. The juice is really good however, thumbs up from me!

Hi Jobe-I guess that explains why such a delicious juice has never made it outside of the mountains.

Hi Popeye-Yes, just one shop a bit closer to me will do :D I'm surprised a bigger juice company doesn't try and do something similar.
