The slightly eccentric eating, cooking and travel adventures of a Sydney girl who loves cakes, cooking, Nigella Lawson and eating. She eats, breathes and dreams food and indeed will never get cable TV as she'd quit working and watch the Food Channel all day long.

I usually go to Woollahra for Bills and always have the hotcakes. I have been missing the honeycomb butter disc as well.

This morning I visited Surry Hills Bills {hey, that rhymes} and the discs are back! :)

Hi Jessica-That's great. They are very simply and fresh recipes. I've had lunch at Bill's and the food is very good then too. I've tried the Surry Hills one too, I think they all have a slightly different vibe :)

I'm a big fan of Bill Granger's food. His recipes is so simple and delicious!

I haven't got chance to visit Bill's in Woollahra, only in Darlinghurst so far. It's sounds a nice place though.

I love his Ricotta Hotcakes and Sweet Corn Fritters. Drools... =D

Hi kaydee-Yes you're right, they do seem to do things differently. Although I wish they were all the same, surely it can't be that hard? People like consistency-well at least I do

Oh if I didn't have the ricotta hotcakes for lunch on the weekend I would so be rushing out there now. YUM!

I find the different locations do the dishes differently - Darlinghurst tends to put the honeycomb butter on top and inbetween the layers ... but they are yummy either way, I reckon.
