The slightly eccentric eating, cooking and travel adventures of a Sydney girl who loves cakes, cooking, Nigella Lawson and eating. She eats, breathes and dreams food and indeed will never get cable TV as she'd quit working and watch the Food Channel all day long.

You must have breakfast/brunch at Flat White Cafe in Woollahra!! Pretty much everything on the menu is YUM (I like sex too) and it'll take you a few trips before you can sample them all. Enjoy!

I usually go to Woollahra for Bills and always have the hotcakes. I have been missing the honeycomb butter disc as well.

This morning I visited Surry Hills Bills {hey, that rhymes} and the discs are back! :)

[...] Now is an exciting moment indeed. Exciting because like many Sydneysiders, I have grown up eating Bill’s hotcakes and scrambled eggs and watched him grow from a single cafe in Darlinghurst to a TV chef with an International presence [...]

Hi Jessica-That's great. They are very simply and fresh recipes. I've had lunch at Bill's and the food is very good then too. I've tried the Surry Hills one too, I think they all have a slightly different vibe :)

I'm a big fan of Bill Granger's food. His recipes is so simple and delicious!

I haven't got chance to visit Bill's in Woollahra, only in Darlinghurst so far. It's sounds a nice place though.

I love his Ricotta Hotcakes and Sweet Corn Fritters. Drools... =D

Hi kaydee-Yes you're right, they do seem to do things differently. Although I wish they were all the same, surely it can't be that hard? People like consistency-well at least I do
