The slightly eccentric eating, cooking and travel adventures of a Sydney girl who loves cakes, cooking, Nigella Lawson and eating. She eats, breathes and dreams food and indeed will never get cable TV as she'd quit working and watch the Food Channel all day long.

Hi B. Krystyna-I'll have a look out for it at Coles. They don't seem to have it at mine but I must admit I haven't looked very closely lately! I've never used sanding sugar but I think some of the specialist cake stores like An Iced Affair might have it :)

Hi Patricia-That's great to hear! I'd love to see pictures so I shall await your blog pics :) I didn't toast the pistachios, they were just raw, shelled, unsalted pistachios.

Dear Lorraine, these are absolutely magnificent! I intend to make them tomorrow night (I'm 12 or 13 hours behind you) and would like to ask you something: did you toast the pistachios before grinding them?
Thank you very much!

Hi Mr NQN-Sorry honey, but it's a compulsion! ;)

Hi Maria-Yep, my Breville Wizz Food Processor has gone to the Breville Doctors :( The KA is safe and sound though thankfully. I'd be distraught if that died!
