**THIS COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED, THANKS FOR ALL OF YOUR ENTRIES!**
CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR WINNERS!

Look out for our next competition to start very soon!
Yes for all of you Cupcake fans (and realistically, who isn’t a Cupcake fan) I have the ultimate competition for you. The lovely people at the Cupcake Courier Company, makers of the ultimate cupcake transporter is giving away a Cupcake Couriers to two lucky NQN readers.
For those of you who haven’t been near a television or the internet, the Cupcake Courier is a three layer stackable cupcake transporter that fits 12 cupcakes or muffins per tray that has Oprah, Rachael Ray, Jessica Alba and Jennie Garth swooning (and we know that Bree Van der Kamp probably has one of these in her cupboard, but you know she’s always politely but firmly ask for it back afterwards). Lady O called it one of the top 10 best Innovative products.
It will ensure that your hard work decorating these babies will not be ruined en route and can also be used for storage for up to one week. It also comes in 4 colours, Blue Sky, Lemongrass, Petal Pink and Saffron Yellow.
All you have to do is tell me (or show me via a photo) of what flavour of cupcake you’d want to make to put in your Cupcake Courier. Add your entry via a comment to this story. You can enter once daily.
The competition is for Australian residents only (sorry overseas readers but it’s due to the large size and costs of sending these overseas). But they are also available to purchase overseas so you won’t feel like you’re missing out!
The competition ends midnight AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time) on the 23rd of July.

But I would love to load it up with apple crumble cupcakes complete with dessicated coconut in the crumble, drizzled with a caramel sauce.
has to be my favourite - chocolate cupcakes with marshmallow icing!
I am so pleased that these have finally arrived in Australia at last! They are the best invention since sliced bread
As for my entry, my tastebuds tell me Jaffa Mud Cupcakes are the order of the day. Slathered in chocolate ganache and topped off, of course, with a lovely, shiny, orange Jaffa!
I’d make maple pumpkin cupcakes - good for winter =)
Pineapple upside-dpwn cupcakes with a caramel filling.
oh oh
I’ve wanted one of these for ages. I usually make my own cupcake origami boxes to transport them in (to sit safely within a container or large box)- making each individual box can be tiring! (but I’m becoming a pro!)
Here are my cuppies:
They are:
-caramel filled chocolate cupcakes
-with caramel fudge icing
-and a macadamia butterscotch on top!

Mmm white chocolate cupcakes with thick vanilla butter icing! Yummmmm!
Ohhhh, absolutely any of the sweet cupcakes you can find here : http://cupcakestakethecake.blogspot.com/
How could you choose just one ?? (unless it was one of each, of course
)
*Some* of the savory ones look alright, but to me, a cupcake isn’t a cupcake unless it’s sweet and covered in frosting !
I’d make mango coconut cupcakes - bit like a pina colada… Yummo!!!
I adore making Black forest cupcakes with chocolate ringlets, smothered in blackforest ganouche and topped with fresh berrys.

The key is in the decoration. Cookie Monster decoration as seen http://farm1.static.flickr.com/78/195728651_5b10d2d6c8.jpg?v=0
That’s what a cupcake courier is needed for! Protecting cookie monster!
You can’t go past Chocolate cupcakes with choc frosting, best idea I’ve seen in ages.
These sweet delights I baked last week for a friends birthday would look perfect in a pink cupcake courier…
http://www.flickr.com/photos/27579534@N03/2572846840/
Oh my gosh! Anything with far too much icing. I can feel my food baby growing already…
I think that some lovely simple vanilla cupcakes with a hint of lemon and glossy white royal icing would look beautiful in the cupcake carrier.
http://bp3.blogger.com/_KgprOF8rDy8/SBlnkIVQCYI/AAAAAAAAAi8/gc9vV4maTNM/s1600-h/IMG_2035.JPG
I would love have vanilla cupcakes as I love vanilla

I love this! I’ve seen the cupcake courier advertised and have hinted that I want one for my birthday.

Saffron flavoured cupcakes with vanilla and a creamy butter icing decorated with little bits of preserved orange peel and crystalised pear, maybe even a tiny dice of the two in the cakemix itself, yum! Now I’ll have to really make up a recipe for this.
WOW a special container to take my delicious cup cakes to parties in.
I would make my special apricot jam and vegemite cup cakes, with orange cream cheese icing. One taste and you will be addicted too.
When I saw the cupcake courier advertised , I wanted one desperately. I love to bake and cupcakes are hard to transport. I would make my Delicate Vanilla Cupcakes with butter cream icing decorated with sugar roses in pink and lavander.
Oh how I wished I lived in Australia! I must say though it’s on the top of my list for places I NEED to travel to some day. If I could play this game I would say I would put in the dark chocolate cupcakes I made recently… so tasty
http://stephchows.blogspot.com/2008/05/best-chocolate-cupcakes-ever.html

I’d make a beer cupcake with cream cheese fluffy frosting on top and a few peanuts sprinkled on top to go with the beer
Rich chocolate mud. dark chocolate ganache. ohhh myy god..

My entry is my absolute all time favourite: Tiramisu Cupcakes with a mascarpone and Kahlua filling, a liquid coffee layer poured over the top, then finished with a cream cheese frosting. Noms.
These sweet delights I made for a friend’s birthday would look great in a pink cupcake courier…
http://www.flickr.com/photos/27579534@N03/2572846840/
I am going to say the humble classic vanilla cupcake with lemon buttercream frosting. Now that I can say that I can successfully pipe the frosting I am taking orders from friends and family for birthdays so the cupcake courier is next on my list of must haves:)
http://bp3.blogger.com/_9U_Wi_xs69o/SFEZ8FtATjI/AAAAAAAAABI/4Hyr3X5NfRA/s1600-h/VanillaCupcakes.jpg
What a fabulous invention!
I would put some Earl Grey infused Vanilla Cupcakes with a slightly lemon butter cream icing
Oh Miss NQN, you read my wish list?! Have been eyeing these off - they sure beat carting cupcakes around in shoeboxes!

The Cupcake Courier would have been really handy when my family helped me make 6 dozen cupcakes for my wedding cake (although we only iced about half that amount) and then transported them for my cupcake tier (and fruitcake top)
Here’s a pic of them on the trolley in the handmade origami boxes my bridesmaid and I folded and folded and folded….
Choc and Vanilla Cupcakes with Pink Bakers Frosting (like the artifical cream in a jam donut) - my parents in law are bakers so we made this at home with the special bakers margarine!

I would like to carry vanilla cupcakes with rose flavoured pink icing. My daughters favourite.
I love lemon cupcakes with the tops cut off. Chocolate icing and the top put back on as wings. Mmmmmm my mouth is watering.
Today’s cupcakes (and I actually made these today, so they really are today’s cupcakes): coconut and lemon cupcakes with lemon icing, topped with toasted coconut.
They’re getting two thumbs up from my children - if only I had an appropriate container I could handily carry them into work and share the joy amongst my colleagues …
My entry for today …
Buttery rose cupcake with rosewater icing

Lime cupcake with tangy lime icing
http://picasaweb.google.com/Trips.for.six/Cupcakes/photo#5211705782393783506
mmmm… Banana Walnut cup cakes. I didnt take a photo when I made them but this is the recipe
http://www.cupcakerecipes.com/bananarecipe.htm
Some I assembled as per the recipe (cut in half horizontally)and some I kind of scooped out a cone shape from the top and then jammed in the filling and bananas and cream.
Either way absolutely delish but impossible to transport conventionally!
A great idea for a small picnic would be to have three different types of cupcakes/muffins – one for each layer of the cupcake courier.
I would choose pumpkin cupcakes with cream cheese icing for a starter; cheese, bacon and chive muffins for a main; and chocolate hazelnut cupcakes covered in chocolate ganache for the desert.
The Cupcake Couriers are gorgeous!
The cupcakes I would like to carry in them are raspberry cheesecake cupcakes with a decadent white chocolate ganache and raspberries on top!
Yum, so many delicious suggestions already. My first answer would be hummingbird cupcakes with cream cheese frosting, but like someone else suggested - I’d like different flavours for each layer! How about lemon yoghurt for the second layer, and rhubarb for a third. Mmmm, making me hungry just thinking about it!
I saw these months ago, & was wondering how I was going to get one in Australia! How exciting it is to know it is possible. My choices now would be for each layer:
Pistachio Zinger
Carrot cupcakes with Cream cheese frosting
Pecan Coffee Crunch…
hmmm yummmmm!..Julia
These sweet delights I baked for a friends birthday would have looked perfect in a pink cupcake courier…
http://www.flickr.com/photos/27579534@N03/2572846840/
Today’s cupcake choice for me is the 4 dozen vanilla cupcakes and 1 dozen chocolate cupcakes I’ll have to make in a few weeks time for my daughter’s cupcake decorating 8th birthday party.
I’ll use Nigella’s recipe, of course. There’ll be about 8 different coloured fondants, cutters, dusts, sprinkles and icing roses, enough for 8 children to make an enormous mess with. I’m expecting the carpet will be edible by the time it’s done.
Imagine how lovely they’d look in the cupcake courier ….
My children voted for the cupcake courier to be filled with Chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting and topped with shavings of white chocolate!
Something a little fancier today: some Gateau Surprise Chocolat Pistache made from a recipe posted by Heidi at 101 Cookbooks.
http://www.101cookbooks.com/archives/000143.html
I love these cupcakes, chocolate and pistachio go so beautifully together, just like cupcakes and the cupcake carrier
NQN, You have the best competitions. I love food and love your website. My favorite cupcake would have to be - Tiramisu….a rich chocolate cupcake with Belgian milk chocolate icing with a shot of expresso and garnished with mascaphone and a curl of chocolate. Yummo!
I only just found your site, and loving it!!!
My 1st entry will have to be:
Fragrant cinnamon cupcake with chocolate bits, topped with fresh cream and chocolate honeycomb.
http://s279.photobucket.com/albums/kk126/atouchoftaste/?action=view¤t=178_9080.jpg
How have I only found this now?!?
Currently, I’m going through a nuts phase. I would put almond and orange cupcakes with vanilla buttercream icing in these cute-as-a-cupcake courier. They sure as heck beat transporting cupcakes in shoe boxes ala me-right-now. Plus I’m running out of shoe boxes…I guess I could just buy more shoes
boo hoo…i can’t enter :’(
my cupcakes are not worth eating without the joy of transportation in the cupcake courier…i can hear them from here shedding drips of icing in the kitchen at the thought if it all…
Wow, my knees just went week at the sight of this cupcake lovers’ dream!
Now the prefect cupcake to make for this carrier? Well it would have to be a picnic cupcake (to be toted in my carrier to an idyllic under-tree setting) like a banana walnut cupcake with cinnamon cream cheese frosting! Yum!
For coffee fans, today I want to put short black cupcakes into the cupcake carrier.
http://bp2.blogger.com/_KgprOF8rDy8/R518V2J0ekI/AAAAAAAAARY/GKq3qYPJJ24/s1600-h/IMG_1570.JPG
The recipe comes from JenJen’s blog, Milk and Cookies and is really really good!
I made the cupcakes to go in it, but they all got eaten before I could take a photo! They were delicious dark chocolate and coconut mud cupcakes with raspberries mixed through, with a raspberry glace icing and a dark chocolate curl as a garnish….. sooooo yummy!
I LOVE chocolate and therefore a chocolate theme is a must.
White chocolate cupcakes, milk chocolate cupcakes and dark chocolate cupcakes each with their matching chocolate ganche and chocolate curls from the two other chocolates.
To begin I would have a pistachio and rosewater cupcake. Then I would want to place red velvet cupcakes. And lastly i would make simple vanilla cupcakes.
To begin I would have a pistachio and rosewater cupcake.Nice and subtle flavours
I’d have to go with three layers of pink! Vanilla/White choc cuppies, with various pink icings - see here for examples http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=954652&id=546520142
I love this competition - it has given me some great ideas of different cupcake flavours to make at a later date!
My entry today is Rocky Road Cupcakes! A chocolate flavoured cupcaked drizzled with a mix of milk chocolate, marshmallows, turkish delight and peanuts, sprinkled with coconut on top. Yum!
YUM! I would make s’more cupcakes with melted marshmallows, chocolate, peanut butter and biscuit crumbs on top
I liked Anita’s idea of one cupcake type for each layer. So I’ve chosen:
Layer 1: Orange and Poppy Seed Cupcakes, with orange icing
Layer 2: Carrot Cake Cupcakes, with a cream-cheese icing
Layer 3: Spiced Sweet Pumpkin Cupcakes with caramelised ginger icing
Wow, I have arrived here at *83 comments*!! How does one follow all of these?
Ginger-fluff cupcakes with Valrhona ganache and pink fairy dust!
Rose chocolate cupcakes with ganache and sprinkled with dried rose petals.
The cupcakes I would include in my Pink cupcake courier (it would definitely have to be pink) would be: Raspberry coulis filled vanilla cupcakes with dual-toned vanilla and raspberry buttercream icing!
Yum!
Today I want some gorgeous black-bottom cupcakes from SmittenKitchen blog.
They are little devil’s food cupcakes with a cheesecake centre, with little bits of dark chocolate chips nestled inside.
Entry and bake for today would is:
Coconut Mango Cupcake, topped with soft icing, sprinkled with coconut and cachous.
http://s279.photobucket.com/albums/kk126/atouchoftaste/?action=view¤t=178_9156.jpg
My choice for today would be butterscotch surprise cupcakes: soft fluffy vanilla cake with a rich butterscotch swirl in the middle, topped with decadent caramelised macadamia nuts.
I know this is terribly boring but what I really want to put in my cupcake courier is vanilla cupcakes with pink frosting. Oh the joy of childhood cupcakes before things got so complicated.

(Even though I was salivating over all of the above suggestions)
Ali

Hope you enjoy your trip, NQN, look forward to hearing about all the exciting food!
Oh geez I’ve forgotten about this and haven’t been doing a daily entry.
In honour of the cake I made yesterday, I’m going to say that today’s entry would have to be the classic, never out of style or taste, chocolate on chocolate. Maybe with extra chocolate added.

I’m making your chilli mud cupcakes(with a few of my own tweaks of course) for a friends wedding in september. she lives in melbourne and I’m in qld so one of these would be great to transport them. so it would be chilli mud cupcakes with rich ganache and a marzipan chilli on top
I’ll make marble cupcakes. All the colours of the rainbow. You can never go wrong with mixed colours. Everytime I make these, my family keep stealing and eating them. I will have to hide it in the Cupcake courier from now on.

The Cupcake Carrier would be perfect for my Raspberry and White Chocolate Mud Cupcakes with Cream Cheese frosting…yum!
I’ll make pink fairy cupcakes with coloured fairy dust. I like fairytales. I live and breathe pink. I’m a child at heart. Fairies are every girls dream. If I had wings, I’ll fly straight over and buy a couple of cupcake couriers myself.

My entry for today (as requested by a colleague) is vegan banana cupcakes with peanut butter-cream icing. Yes, you use smooth peanut butter instead of butter in the buttercream icing. Sounds interesting, no?
i will enter my lemon butter cupcakes with buttercream.it will look really nice in the lemongrass cupcake carrier.
The Cupcake Courier would be perfect for my Carrot and Walnut cupcakes with cream cheese icing. I like to pile the icing on
but I always end up losing half of it to the bottom of another muffin (or the lid of a container!). This would be PERFECT to transport my creations!!!!!
I will enter my fruit mince and brandy cupcakes - perfect for Christmas in July parties!
Definitely would have to be Red Velvet Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Icing.
Mmmm..today’s bake and entry is Neopolitan Cupcakes! Just like eating the ice cream itself!
