I stumbled across this post of yours from 2008 as I was planning some serious cupcake baking.
I live just down the road from Iced Affair and had no idea it even existed! Thanks so much for writing about it, I had the best time picking out my decorations.
I met Evan, and told him I had read about his store on your blog – he was very chuffed.

I went the whole kit and caboodle and bought food colouring powders, which apparently are the best colouring option for macarons. I was a bit apprehensive, because EVERYONE told me how easy they are to stuff up… even the lady at Iced Affair, while I was buying the food dye powders! Fantastic Customer Service. I called Iced Affair on Monday morning looking for an icing image for my son’s 4th Birthday cake. I spoke with a lovely gentleman (sorry I didn’t get his name); he was very helpful and went out of his way to order what I was looking for. I then got a prompt follow up phone call 2 days later to say that it had arrived. Thank You very much. What great friendly customer service. I will be recommending you to all my friends.

Iced Affair is my all time favourite shop!!!! Some girls drool over shoes;I drool over cake decorating stuff and beautiful designer cakes. It’s also where I take cake decorating classes with Evan who is so creative and a great fun teacher. Dimity is lovely and they can’t help you enough, especially when you’re having a bad cake day.

Thanks for the tip! I’m up on the Northern Beaches and was struggling where to get supplies after doing a class at “Cakes that Inspire”. I was going to trek out to Castle Hill to Cake Decorating Central but was heading into the city one day and decided to check Iced Affair out. Got pretty much everything I needed for my son’s first birthday and it smelled soooooooo yummy in there! They were very helpful in figuring out exactly how much stuff I’d need, even though I was a bit vague on minor things like sizes of cake tins!!

Hi Maria-It’s not far from where I live although I have somewhere a bit closer although the range isn’t as comprehensive so this was actually my first visit (but not my last)
