If you want to try the best burger there is a burger place that has just opened up called The Counter in Crows Nest where you can get they say up to 312,000 different burger combinations. I love it and the atmosphere is fantastic.

Hi,I agree with you, the wagyu truffle burger was really disappointing for me.
I also had the chips delivered cold, not to mention waiting time of 40 mnts before anything got delivered to our table.
I would never ever go back there again!!
But I will try Plan B’s though.

Hi Maria-I was suckered in by the trolleys completely. I asked “Do the mini burgers come with the fries in the trolley” and the girl nodded yes as if she understood and had been asked that before

I don’t think they were supposed to be cold. They were doing a roaring trade due to the AFL game nearby and lots of takeaway orders (8 people at one stage taking away!).

I ADORE chips and gravy, and chips with mayonnaise too, is that embarrassing to admit?

Oh wow, no Oporto? The Bondi burger is really good! I always take it home and add salad to it though

p.s. we don’t have ‘Oporto’ here where I live in Geelong.. I know I’ve seen them in Brisbane and Sydney.. but maybe Melbourne too? If we had a local one, I would have given it a go by now

They love their shopping trolley presentations don’t they? I’ve only seen these with cosmetics in them at Myer department store. It is certainly a novelty and kids would love it!

So you like Oporto burgers? I’ve never eaten at ‘Oporto’. Since I don’t find Nando Chicken burgers impressive, I’ve not been game to try anything at all from Oporto. I love Nando’s flamed grilled whole chickens though.. it’s what we always get.

I wonder if they meant for the onion rings to be cold? I’ve not heard of such a thing.. but I can’t understand why they’d wait ages to get these to you..and allow them to go cold? Not too good.. I would have asked for replacement rings!

I could tell those chips were good just by looking at the close-up photo! Do you like chips and gravy as a combo?

Can’t say much about the burgers, but you definitely have to try the Pat and Stick’s ice cream. They have them at some markets around the place and are well worth travelling to get them. It makes other ice cream pale into insignificance. An added benefit is to go along and look at Pat and Stick standing next to each other, a real odd couple.
