The slightly eccentric eating and cooking adventures of a Sydney girl who loves cakes, cooking, Nigella Lawson and eating. She eats, breathes and dreams food and indeed will never get cable TV as she'd quit working and watch the Food Channel all day long.

My friend and I stopped in on our transit home from Florence. Not enough wait staff so service was very slow. The main course pastas were HORRIBLE, over sauced and very bland, soggy noodles though it looked pretty. Food quality was on par with an American diner and both of us left over half our plates untouched. Go to the lounges and save the money & calories.

Had breakfast at Plane food. Awful. Salmon and scrambled egg at £16 should have been outstanding - was bland and paltry portions. English breakfast the same. Went to the BA lounge afterwards to have a meal!

I’m just about finished Gordon’s ‘Playing with Fire’ and after reading what I have so far.. I get the feeling that what you get at any Gordon Ramsay restaurant is quality. No stone left unturned. A lot of thought and consideration put into everything from the restrooms to the tableware and meal prices.. and of course the meals.

I am glad to see a review of this restaurant in Terminal 5 which I noticed in May. I know Gordon Ramsey's passion for excellence and wondered it this "fast food" version in a tourist destination would hold up. I am happy to know it does and will definately try it on my next trip

Hi kaydee-Awww no! I don't know why mine don't mind, perhaps they do but they hide it?

Yes, it does indeed, especially for that quality. I think now the exchange rate is a little better than it used to be, now it's only double. And I say "only" with irony
