We ate at the Roppongi venue last week and it was to die for (as was the bill at the end…but worth it!) The mash I have to say was the best I have ever eaten, and I especially loved the touch of shaved truffles. Drool.

i can’t believe how much better the burgers were in tokyo. i could barely taste the foie gras in these ones!

your mash was amazing, though. interesting that such a high end restaurant would excel at mashed potato.

whose leg is that? not the most appetizing decor, in my eyes.
meanwhile, i think your meal looks and sounds delightful–it would definitely be my preference of the two, probably because of that dessert.
