The food was an expensive disappointment. As a party of three, we had 13 diffferent dishes – and all tasted them. And the Potato dish was not available at 7.30 pm on a Saturday! A lot must have changed since NQN’s review. Service was swift and friendly. The room is so noisy we could not hear ourselves think let alone converse; there is no airconditioning, so the doors are opened onto the street. And don’t forget the 225 and 263 buses stop 5 metres away.

To sum up, give this a miss until they move into better premises – and reduce the prices.

Food at JAPAZ was deliriously fantastic.Enjoyed hospitality shown, with pricing very reasonable.
Will go back soon. Highly recommended.

Hi Ingrid-I think people are entitled to their opinion about the wallpaper without being asked to foot the bill for a real stone wall. That kind of wallpaper is not for everyone.

The wallpaper is very cleaver. It creates the effect and if the faux-stone snobs would like to foot the bill for a stone wall Im sure Japaz would be more than happy to loose the wallpaper.

The food is out fo thsi world – the waiters are good value!

The wallpaper is hideous. A crime against walls!

Definitely worth a trip over plus you can get really nice gelato at Bella Gelati across the road (blueberry mascarpone is my favourite).

Oh no, maybe he’ll change his mind after a while?
