The slightly eccentric eating, cooking and travel adventures of a Sydney girl who loves cakes, cooking, Nigella Lawson and eating. She eats, breathes and dreams food and indeed will never get cable TV as she'd quit working and watch the Food Channel all day long.

Hi Becky-Sorry to hear that! :( Wow that sounds quite odd. I don't think I've seen that happen. The only thing I can think of is perhaps it wasn't mixed thoroughly enough? It's an allrecipes recipe (there's a link above) but I don't think anyone else has done any reviews or adjusted them.

Thank you for publishing your chilli chocolate brownie recipe. I have just made a batch. I followed the recipe to the letter, however when I brought it out of the oven it was bubbling around the edges and looked far too greasy.

Bit disappointed, is this normal? Or perhaps you make a suggestion on what's gone wrong.

Thanks!

Hi Lisa-They were my favourite part of the meal too! :) I didn't mean to eat the whole thing but it was really good. Although I did find these slightly different on the top? I'd love to know what you think of the recipe :)

Hi Bria-It was great! They're very good and spicy and rich :)

Hi Maria-I was lucky and they emailed me. We did get a gift box with a lovely silver bowl and a box of Herbies spices which I can't wait to use!

Thankyou so much! :) Ahhh the Herbies chili lovers must be the strong version, this one is Chili Hit which is medium heat.

Hi Eileen-Thankyou so much! :)

Hi Cocoazilla-You're welcome, it's well worth trying, it's fantastic :)

Hi Patricia-Ahh well this is quite strong with the chili, you may want to knock it back and use 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder just in case ;)

Hi grace-they're gooey and fudgey indeed :) I would draw the line at eating koala but apparently we have too large a kangaroo population (in the country, we don't have them in the city despite what people may think  ).

Hi Angela-Thanks! Oooh nice plan! I like your way of thinking ;)

Hi Christie-Haha no I just felt like I had to make these as I kept telling hubby about how much he'd like them

Hi Cakelaw-They're pretty easy to make so the kind of thing you can whip up quickly in one saucepan. I hope you like them! :)
