As an avid cupcaker, I was waiting for these Cupcake wrappers to be imported into Australia. I’d seen them on various cupcake sites hoping that they would soon grace our shores but always without much luck. Then I heard that a shop nearish to me stocked them and I knew that I would have to pay a visit to get a hold of these wrappers.
As I’m learning to drive, I took the chance to drive there (driving in the Northern beaches for an L driver is much nicer as people are more relaxed) and drove up to the store.
Inside there are displays of fresh flowers, some of which I’ve never seen before (they have a florist that picks their flowers). Even for this Sunday morning it’s full.
Halloween Displays
There is a display that completely appeals to me, the Halloween one with the Spider Cupcakes wrappers, the very ones that I have come here expressly to get a hold of.
Cupcake wrappers
I ask them about the Cupcake wrappers and they tell me that when they first arrived they sold out of them straight away and now they get orders from everywhere in Australia requesting them.
Stonewall kitchen
Stonewall Kitchen’s Grade A Dark Amber Maple syrup
I am intrigued by the Stonewall Kitchen products from Maine, New England, in particular their two grades of Maple Syrup, the regular kind and the Grade A Dark Amber Maple Syrup housed in a cute little cabin. I think I may have to come back for this.
There’s also the Crystallised Violets, the same brand that I bought in the UK and used in my Violette Macarons ($17.95 here) as well as boxes of sugar flowers (you can buy a large box of sugar flowers for $25), cake decorating items (mostly Wilton brand), cupcake patty pans, cake stands and cake making tools which relieves me that I don’t have to travel very far to top up my stash.
Cake decorating supplies
Tilting turntable to help decorate cakes
One thing I notice that they have is numbered cake tin rental, for $8 a week you can rent a cake tin which saves you collecting numbers 0-9 in order to make cakes for all ages. Very clever indeed.
Me wanty! Me didn’t get ![]()
Adorable wrapping paper
As well as cake decorating items there’s also furniture (damn if only I’d know about this before our wedding I’d have had our registry here!) and all sorts of lovely bits and pieces that a true fashionista would love.
I fell in love with this tray-perfect for Spring or Christmas
And look out for the upcoming NQN competition where the kind people at Alfresco Emporium, upon seeing my reaction at these cupcake wrappers, offered up 6 packets of cupcake wrappers for a competition!

Stores like this make me want to drop out of uni and marry a rich man. (I want that book holder! I let out a little gasp when I saw it. No doubt, it’d look insane in my room but still! *whines*)
Hahahaha, I just wanted to say that the caption, “Me wanty! Me didn’t get
” made me laugh. Awwww!
Ooohh what a cute little place!
What a lovely shop! I really like that unique tray too.. a true conversation piece!
Let me know if you’d like me to purchase any cake decorating stuff for you from here! postage is cheap!
What a fun shop! I especially love those flowers!
Like a kid in a candy store, my bf would have to hold me back, whilst i am kicking and screaming for a bucket load of things that I NEED and MUST have. Now I know that i need a tilting table for decorating cakes and some Stonewall kitchen products. Thanks for the post!
You have to try the Stonewall Blueberry Jam – v. good indeed.
Ooohhh I’ve been drooling over those cupcake wrappers ever since seeing them on some cupcake blog! Hopefully, I’ll get the chance to visit, although, at that price, they are going to have to be veryveryvery special cupcakes!
Hi M-I know, I could eat the whole store up really. The merchandising of it is really great-however it should come with a warning!
Hi Javs-Hehe I was so upset that I wasn’t able to get it
Hi FFichiban-It is really cute but surprisingly big!
Hi Maria-I know isn’t it the cutest, the book holder and the tray are my picks (well apart from the cupcake wrappers). I haven’t seen that tray anywhere else too which is why I liked it.
Hi Kathy-Haha you don’t want to see my list honestly!
Hi Barbara-The flowers are gorgeous, and I didn’t realise what some of them were so I think they were quite unusual (which makes for a nice gift).
Hi Maria T-LOL it sounds like my visit there! The tilting stand is so cool and I will have to go back for the Stonewall products I think!
Hi Suzie-Ahhh ok thanks for the rec, is it full of whole blueberries? That’s the way I love my jam/conserves.
Hi Chris-I know, I was hoping they’d come to Australia and they finally have!
