I love your site! Your photos capture the food so well… makes me hungry everytime I visit! I especially love the idea for Christmas pudding vodka! I made a cranberry infused vodka for gifts this year… love it.

You’re very patient to make crumpets. I only recently discovered they were yeasted when I was looking for a gluten free version. I haven’t got around to trying them yet though.

Hi Barbara-Ah of course, they’re not really an American thing are they? I adore crumpets and these home made ones, when they’re freshly made are like mouthfuls of clouds. After 10 minutes they’re like ones that you buy but the first 10 minutes is heaven!

Great round up Lorraine! I think the potato and zucchini gratin should also be featured in the vegetarian section… it’s a perfect main or side dish that’s also indulgent for Xmas!

All your pics are beautiful! I especially enjoyed seeing the quail’s egg with za’atar. It looks so pretty! Believe it or not, I haven’t had za’atar…but I intend to seek it out soon!
