The slightly eccentric eating, cooking and travel adventures of a Sydney girl who loves cakes, cooking, Nigella Lawson and eating. She eats, breathes and dreams food and indeed will never get cable TV as she'd quit working and watch the Food Channel all day long.

Hi Lorraine. I love the look of this recipe. I'm totally addicted to trying out new recipes and this is next on my list. My mum will kill me for the mess, but then she'll forgive me when I use this great recipe. I love cinnamon. I sometimes get the bottle and sprinkle a little bit in my mouth. Scary, I know, but it tastes sooooo good.

Hi Michelle-Sounds fabulous! I agree citrus and cinnamon are a killer combo. I made a Crema Catalana and I adored the combination in that or orange, lemon and cinnamon. Thanks for sharing your recipe! :)

My snickerdoodle recipe is quite similar but with a twist.

Remove the hersheys and add a teaspoon or two of zest - either lemon or orange. Everyone raves about how great they are - so soft and moist like a cake on the inside! The zest adds such a nice tang to the cookies.

Oh, it also has a pinch of nutmeg added in with the flour. Cinnamon, nutmeg and citrus zest - YUM!

Hi Angela-Hehe so I guess the solution is to buy heaps? They're freakishly addictive so that would be my plan (not necessarily one I'd recommend  ).

Dave would love these (and so would I for that matter)! They look delicious!

You can get hold of cinnamon chips in the UK but only online, so you have to buy loads to make the shipping worthwhile. I'll probably lug loads back with me when we head Stateside next year.

Hi Kathy-Thankyou SO much for testing that out! I've edited the recipe to show that it works with the white chocolate and cinnamon. You're more than welcome! :D

Okay it's me again. The DIY cinnamon chips worked! (Or at least I think it did since I haven't tasted the real ones before). I melted the white choc, mixed in 2 tsp of cinnamon, 1/2 tsp at a time before cooling and setting it, then chopping it up. These are by far the fiddliest cookies I have made - but they are SOO good! They are a little crunchy on the outside with a really soft and chewy center. And the cinnamon is perfect - my husband is going to love these, thanks NQN!! :D
