The slightly eccentric eating, cooking and travel adventures of a Sydney girl who loves cakes, cooking, Nigella Lawson and eating. She eats, breathes and dreams food and indeed will never get cable TV as she'd quit working and watch the Food Channel all day long.

Hi Y-I think that seems to be the most common way to eat it! :)

Hi Amaya-Sounds like a great alternative to lamb. The grilled goat was very much like lamb to me.

It really wasn't entirely raw, it was like a ceviche so partially cooked by acids so really quite good!

Goat slow roasted in rosemary and olive oil is one of my favourite winter foods; knocks the socks out of lamb that's for sure.

Like others I'm mostly eaten goat curry where the strong meat is matched by the spices. I'm not sure it's high on the list of meats I want to consume raw.

I love goat curry, and that's probably the extent to which I've enjoyed goat meat so far!

Hi Reality Raver-Ahh brilliant! It's really good and well worth a visit :) I'd love to know what you think of it if you do go!

Hi Lilia-That sounds delicious! I wonder if you can get that dish here?

Hi Cakelaw-I've never seen them this salty anywhere else but perhaps you might be able to find it at a Vietnamese restaurant as they had some Vietnamese dishes there :)

Hi Christie-It's always fun hanging out with you! Yay for foodie adventures! :D Haha yes from the wok, which gave it that great char grilled flavour.

Hi FFichiban-I think I prefer raw goat! Although admittedly I'm not a big fan of steak tartar. This is really worth a try though. Bring your buddies too! ;)

Hi Helen-lol ok! I would love to buy some and experiment with it.

Hi grace-I don't suppose there's a goat meat restaurant near you? :P Hehe the idea is a lot scarier than the taste
though, I promise!

Hi Alexandra-I admit it did a bit to me first but I was really pleasantly surprised :)
