The slightly eccentric eating, cooking and travel adventures of a Sydney girl who loves cakes, cooking, Nigella Lawson and eating. She eats, breathes and dreams food and indeed will never get cable TV as she'd quit working and watch the Food Channel all day long.

Hi Polly-Hmm that is very odd! Perhaps try another egg or an addition egg white and a bit more flour. It should definitely be done in 1 and a half hours. Also perhaps try using the fan on 160C. I hope this helps! It's so delicious :D

Hi NQN - hope you still check old comments!
I made this today.
Love the taste.
But despite cooking it for an hour and a half at 160degreesC it still has an under-cooked consistency? I realise it's meant to be moist but this is too moist. Any suggestions? More flour?
Thanks x

I guess it isn't that odd, if you consider how sweet Kashmiri curries are, and they're full of pineapple and banana. I can't remember the last time I saw curry powder on the shelves, though, so I might have a bit of a hunt on my hands to reproduce this one!

Is this bread a case of "sounds so crazy, it might just work" ? I love the idea of that combination of flavours, even if I'm not always the biggest fan of pineapple :)
