The slightly eccentric eating, cooking and travel adventures of a Sydney girl who loves cakes, cooking, Nigella Lawson and eating. She eats, breathes and dreams food and indeed will never get cable TV as she'd quit working and watch the Food Channel all day long.

Congratulations on the number two spot. What a great achievement. Good on you! I prefer the texture of unbaked. (Have just made one tonight). Favourite baked is New York cheesecake, best flavour is Lemon. I made a white choc with raspberry on an Oreo base recently and it was vile. I must be a traditionalist!

This cheesecake looks great! I was looking up lemon myrtle recipes as I just purchased some, and this is top of the list so far. I'm sure it'll appear on my food blog, The Three Cheeses (www.thethreecheeses.com) sometime soon! :)

I stumbled across the same lady at the Brisbane show and did exactly the same as you. This has been one of my fave recipes for a couple of years now and it always gets fantastic comments from everyone who try it. She also told me of her wattleseed icecream to go with it - mix wattleseed with a home brand vanilla icecream and apparently it's fantastic as well! Cheers.

I love the idea to use the lemon myrtle. I've never heard of it before but it sounds like a lovely combination with cheesecake! I honestly can't remember ever eating no-bake cheesecake, or even that many cheesecakes for that matter. I definitely prefer them with fresh fruit, though I bet there are a lot of herbs that would work wonderfully.
