I was EXTREMELY excited last Christmas when I opened the gift from my wife and found out it was a cooking course at the famous Victor Churchill.

Having waited 3 months for the first available course, I sadly I couldn’t make it due to work commitments and was told rather bluntly that the fine print said no re-scheduling, refunds or flexibility of any kind.

You’d think for $350 for a 3 hour course they would be a little more accommodating! I even offered to buy another course if they would re-arrange…they still said NO…

Be very careful that your life won’t change for at least 3 months before booking…

Apparently Oprah Winfrey ducked in to the shop unannounced on her recent Australian tour.

She was in there for 40 minutes, surrounded by paparazzi and hangers-on.

Didn’t buy a thing. Tightarse!

Whoa – I’ll have to check it out when I’m back in Sydney! It doesn’t help that Vic Churchill was my great grandfather so heading over there is a moral imperative
