I would say that the most important is the location, meals and service. Some hotels may lack of things but the most memorable will be the experience (great location), mouthful meals and the service from hotel's staffs. I've been to 2 hotels with golf courses and I can point out that I'll be definitely back for the one in Yarra Valley which has kangaroo roaming at golf courses early morning, fresh air and oh-so-natural golf course which blend with nature.
