I am Austrian, living in Thailand at the moment. While searching for a Malakoff Torte recipe, I found your wonderful blog. Not only do I love the recipe, which I am going to make for my husband today, I found this post – today on the 24. December. Which was such a treat because I miss the Austrian Christmas atmosphere. ooh you lucky thing to go to these markets – I have just returned from Edinburgh where they have german christmas markets but nothing on the scale of those wonderful markets you describe – I would have rolled home from there as all the food looked so amazing – thanks to your beautiful photography
