The best tip I can give - the double prong fork that is used for carving meat is an easy and mess free way of dipping the sponges in the chocolate and coconut (and easier to manouver the sponge instead of using two normal forks). It went down a storm, the only problem is that it's a bit too sweet for my taste...and the fact that we were so stuffed with food there's heaps left in my fridge to finish...lol.. You proved an inspiration in more than 1 way yesterday - we stopped by Ruby's Diner for coffee (after Bertoni Casalinga in Balmain) - I'm working through the Time Out top 10 coffees before we move overseas. So thank you - you helped make Australia Day one of the most memorable we've had! We had an Aussie day BBQ last night, and I actually made this!
