The slightly eccentric eating, cooking and travel adventures of a Sydney girl who loves cakes, cooking, Nigella Lawson and eating. She eats, breathes and dreams food and indeed will never get cable TV as she'd quit working and watch the Food Channel all day long.

I enjoyed this story and the good looking food. I had the opportunity to go through the Qantas catering area a few years back and I cannot recall seeing so much pretty food as you have photographed here.

This is such an interesting article. I thought this was hilarious - and very intriguing!
"The passenger mix is also taken into account which is taken from information gathered at the time of the booking (although James is a little reluctant to discuss how they get this information)"

Hey Lorraine,

Great Article! I have flown Business class on Emirates quite a few times now, and it great to see how its all prepared. I must say though, when I flew Emirates I thought the food was quite good. However I have recently flown Business on Etihad and I must say Emirates food does not come close. Etihad's food was simply amazing. It would be great to see if you could do the same thing for Etihad. The plane isn't as spacious as the A380 and there's no bar, but boy the food and service is better than a few restaurants I have eaten at. I now don't fly Emirates anymore and I stick to Etihad, its really taken inflight cuisine to a new level!
