The slightly eccentric eating, cooking and travel adventures of a Sydney girl who loves cakes, cooking, Nigella Lawson and eating. She eats, breathes and dreams food and indeed will never get cable TV as she'd quit working and watch the Food Channel all day long.

Yum yum yum. I've made these with milk chocolate Tim Tams and white chocolate Tim Tams and both were divine!

It would be unfair not to try it with Mint Slice too right?

I've made these with milk and white Tim Tams and they were divine (and so easy!!!). It seems only fair that I also try it with Mint Slice right?

I've been making these for years using Oreos, which while common, are just as expensive for us as Tim Tams are for the Americans. I don't know why I never thought of using Tim Tams! And especially now with the dark chocolate ones out - I think Rum & Raisin ones, and perhaps a batch of mint as well?

I told a friend recently I would make her a cake, and she cheekily asked if I could make a Tim Tam cake. My first thought was, "How am I going to do that?" Then I remembered a friend sent me this link, so I thought I'd make them and present them in patty pans, in a little box, as Tim Tam cupcakes, instead of on sticks. I'm also thinking while I'm there, I might try them with some of the Griffin's Squiggles biscuits (either Hokey pokey or candy, either would be good). And then I thought any chocolate biscuit (such as a Tim Tam or Oreo) and a handful of Pascalls Clinkers would be good, and would create a bit of crunch too. Or some chopped up Violet crumble, or some Peppermint Crisp bar with Mint Slice biscuits. Or just use the chopped lollies as alternative decorations to 100's&1000's. The possibilities are endless! I'm off to the kitchen to experiment!

I've just bought this food processor myself after struggling with my mini yet super noisy food processor. Now I'm having buyer remorse (haven't use it yet..), can't help thinking that it's probably too much of an upgrade.
Was wondering if you could suggest ideas as to what you use the food processor for? I'd love to be able to justify the purchase to myself! :)

Thanks.
