Quadruple Hot Chocolate

Makes two cups

  • 450ml full cream milk (you can use skim milk but I have to look away if you do ;) )

  • 70g dark chocolate (plus a little extra to shave over the whipped cream)

  • 30g milk chocolate

  • 4 tablespoons Milo

  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder

  • 2 teaspoons sugar

  • Whipped cream and marshmallows to serve (optional)

Use any milk or dark chocolate you like, this is just what I had in the pantry

Step 1 - In a small saucepan heat the milk until almost boiling point but not quite. Add the chocolate and stir until melted and then add the Milo, cocoa powder and sugar. Do not boil the milk as you don't want the cocoa butter to separate.

Step 2 - Pour into a cup or glass (I know hot drinks in glasses aren't very clever but I wanted to test out my new glasses). Top with whipped cream (the one in the can is fine) and then top with chocolate flakes.
