Sugar Cube Skulls & Cocktail

  • 1 cup sugar (caster/superfine or regular)
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • Skull mold

Step 1 - Preheat oven to 100C/212F. Line two baking trays with parchment. Mix the sugar and the water in a jug so that you get a "wet sand" consistency. Fill one of the skull cavities with the sugar and press down. Press a small flat piece of cardboard or plastic against the skull and remove from the mold gently. It will be quite delicate but gently slide it onto the prepared baking tray. Repeat shaping each skull individually.

Step 2 - Bake the skulls for 8 minutes. Remove from the oven. They will now be hard.
