I absolutely loved making this charcuterie Ouija board - such a clever, easy idea if you have small letter cookie cutters. It's a brilliant way to serve cheese because everything's already portioned: I used Red Leicester and tasty cheddar slices, plus salami, ham, cornichons and olives, and even made a little sun from a round of brie - the result was delicious.

Preparation time: 25 minutes
Cooking time: 0 minutes
Makes a large charcuterie board for 8-10 guests
- 150g/5ozs square block Red Leicester cheese
- 125g/4oz tasty or cheddar cheese slices
- 100g/3.5ozs salami slices
- 100g/3.5ozs ham slices
- Olives
- Cornichons
- 3 large flour tortillas
Note: if you have a lot of people you can double or triple quantities and layer the cheese and meat.
Step 1 - First take a large, rectangular chopping board. Cut the cheese into slices and then into small rectangles. Line the centre of the board with these. Then cut the salami into half moons and place around the edge of the board. Roll ham up and place at the base.
Step 2 - Using small letter cutters punch out the alphabet as well as the words "Yes", "No" and "Goodbye". Place these on top of the cheese slices. Then using a heart cutter cut out planchettes in the tortillas. I use a large metal straw (for bubble tea/boba drinks) to punch out the little circle.
