One of the ways to your love's heart is by baking for them! And I've got you covered with a range of bakes. There are easy desserts like pink sugar cookies, Dubai chocolate strawberry cups or rose scones to medium difficulty aka mochi filled with fresh cream and fruit. Or if you're a bit of a baking pro try my Iced Vovo Pavlova!
I became determined to try the famous Pink Sugar Crumbl cookies when I visited San Francisco a few years ago and then when I came home I was determined to make a dupe of these cookies. These soft, chewy vanilla sugar cookies have a unique texture and are deliberately baked on low so that they don't brown. They're then spread with a delicious pink frosting!
This is just about the most delicious way to serve Dubai chocolate and pistachio kataifi flavours but in a dessert form. And this recipe makes enough for two people too!
This is one of those sweet treats that I absolutely love just to eat myself. They're rose scented scones that feature small chunks of Turkish delight in them and are topped with rose pink icing and rose cream.
I have an ulterior motive for sharing this-I'm hoping that someone (Mr NQN!) gives me some of these fresh cream mochis. They're SO delicious and not too hard to make either!
I love iced vovo biscuits or cookies so I had to combine the classic pavlova with coconut and raspberries. It's baked in a tin so it's even easier to make and transport too!
So tell me Dear Reader, do you think the way to someone's heart is through their stomach? Which dessert would win you over?
