Where to Eat in Walsh Bay
Walsh Bay slows the city down to the pace of the water, which makes it very easy to turn a theatre visit or harbour walk into a long lunch. My meals here range from dumplings to seafood, with the old finger wharves giving every table a strong sense of place.

The man whom I was talking to freezes and a look of fear crosses his face. I have just asked him whether the dumplings that we'd eaten were fresh or frozen. "Definitely never frozen, Lucy would never let us do that" he said in no uncertain terms. The Lucy in question is "dumpling queen" Lucy Luo who stands behind the glass rhythmically shaping dumplings by hand.
