Everyone wants to eat more fish and it's always an occasion when you bake a whole fish. I've got 5 spectacular ways to serve up baked fish from a tandoori glazed fish, a spicy paper bag fish, a salt baked fish, a sweet and sour whole fish and a whole side of salmon tarator style!
1 - Whole Baked Tandoori Fish
This recipe was inspired by a Glasgow restaurant called The Fish People where they smother a whole fish in tandoori paste. It gives fish such a delicious flavour and keeps it moist sealing the juices and flavour in.
2 - Spicy Paper Bag Fish
This is one of my favourite baked fish recipes because it not only tastes delicious but it also has a really stunning presentation (and psst it isn't actually that spicy as you use chopped up capsicum that looks like a lot of chilli!). It's all baked in a parchment "bag" to seal the juices in.
3 - Salt Baked Fish
Now this is a baked fish for the ages. It's an old technique where a whole fish is covered in salt and then baked. The salt seasons the fish but also becomes a protective layer steaming the fish perfectly!
4 - Sweet & Sour Murray Cod Recipe
I was inspired to make this dish from a visit to Brisbane restaurant Hellenika. It's a whole Murray Cod and you won't believe that the whole thing just takes 30 minutes to make!
5 - Whole Baked Tom Yum Rainbow Trout
Although a whole baked fish does sound like it would be quite elaborate, this tom yum baked rainbow trout takes just 10 minutes prep. We flavour it with tom yum paste and cherry tomatoes that gives it a gorgeous zingy freshness.

So tell me Dear Reader, how often do you cook a whole fish?
