I'm starting with the Classic Hot Cross Bun. It's the recipe that got me started on my Hot Cross Bun baking fervour and uses tangzhong which is one little step that ensures that your hot cross buns are fluffier and lighter and long lasting than any bakery hot cross bun! Better still these rum soaked raisins make them taste better too!
So you've Ahh the finger bun. A classic old skool bakery treat. These lend themselves to hot cross bunning easily with a soft sultana studded bun topped with pink icing of course!
