If you're looking for the best espresso martini recipe then pull up a chair, I've got you! Normally Dear Reader, I would not advocate buying a whole new bottle of liqueur for anything. I mean there are some spirits and liqueurs you just have on hand (vodka, gin, Baileys, Grand Marnier, brandy) for cooking or for cocktail making but Creme de Cacao? What even is that? But once I tried it, I liked it so much that I now make all my espresso martinis like this. The chocolate doesn't give it an overly sweet flavour or an overly chocolatey flavour. To me it really enhances the flavour of the espresso as does the vanilla vodka. It's a perfect Valentines Day cocktail drink too!

2 - Start with freshly brewed espresso but let it cool off first. You will not get a nice head of foam unless the coffee is chilled.
3 - Make sure to add plenty of ice to the shaker and shake it for at least 30 seconds to get a thick head of foam!
4 - You can sieve some cocoa powder on top and add some coffee beans or leave as is.
