It's passion fruit's second season at the moment and this wonderful fruit is abundant. And while passion fruit cakes are fantastic, I also have 5 more passion fruit recipes to try including a passion fruit chilli sauce, a passion fruit and raspberry ice cream, a fruity passion fruit syllabub, a refreshing passion fruit sangria or a stunning passion fruit caramel and chocolate tart!

1 - Passion Fruit Chilli Sauce

This passion fruit chilli sauce was inspired by my travels to Peru and this is actually two recipes: one with Peruvian rocoto chillies and another version like a sweet chilli sauce with easier to find chillies. Seriously, if you love sweet chilli sauces you have to try them with passion fruit!

2 - Passion fruit and Raspberry Ice Cream

As a kid my favourite ice cream was the twister made with ribbons of raspberry and passion fruit. So I decided to recreate it using a simple no churn ice cream and it is deliciously tangy and sweet at the same time.

I mean what can go wrong when you mix passion fruit, wine and whipped cream? It's only good and I've got great news-you only need 4 ingredients!

For those of you lucky enough to be in the midst of summer, this is for you. This mango and passion fruit white sangria is all about cool, fruity, lightly sweet refreshment!

5 - Passion fruit and Chocolate Tart

Passion fruit might just be my favourite fruit pairing with chocolate and this tart has two layers: the bottom is a passion fruit caramel and the top is a dark chocolate ganache. And to finish off, a sprinkle of flaked salt!
