Halloween Mulled Blood Bags Recipe

Recipe: Mulled Blood Recipe »

Halloween Party Food

Our wine rack was overflowing with red, so for Halloween I made a delicious batch of mulled "blood" - Monica had bought those fun blood bags and I couldn't resist. People kept coming up to tell me how much they loved both the drink and the novelty of drinking it from a bag. Mulled wine is perfect for the slow cooker because it never gets hot enough to really boil the alcohol off, and you can also make it in the Thermomix. I made mine the day before the party and served it chilled; if you're serving kids, simply swap the wine for grape juice.
