Sydney Pub Reviews
Sydney pubs have become my low-drama answer to all sorts of eating problems: family birthdays where everyone can order separately, dog-friendly courtyards, rooftops with a view and relaxed dinners where a schnitzel, burger, pizza, steak frites or Sunday roast can be much better than expected. These are the Sydney pubs where the food matters as much as the drink, from old locals with new menus to beer gardens, happy hours, cosy dining rooms and the places that make an easy meal feel like a very good idea.
The Camelia is a pub formerly known as The Camelia Grove on Henderson Road in Alexandria. It has been recently renovated complete with a new pizzeria with Napoletana style pizzas. It's also dog friendly and the perfect place to kick back on a Sunday afternoon.
